Agree with what you're saying, but anecdotally, I just don't live enough in the moment to appreciate spending an extra couple thousand dollars on a flight for 10 hours or so of business class comfort. It's nice if a bathroom sink on the flight has infrared sensors, but it's just marginally nicer for the two times I use it. Not paying for business class, however--that sort of money saved is the difference between splurging or not on my next 5 years of phones and computers.
