Anyone know of a "reader" app for books that does something similar?
(Totally getting this though---I might not be sold on the Netflix stuff but in general this plugin seems invaluable to me at this point in my Russian skills).
- armagon 8y agoThis doesn't solve the general problem, but take a look at http://paralleltext.io/ http://paralleltext.io/ , where you can read/listen to a book in a different language and click on the text to see a translation.
- nategri 8y agoFor my language choices I'm constrained to reading Anna Karenina as my material, haha, but I still consider this pretty good! Thanks for the tip.
- levpopov 8y agoCheck out https://www.getflowlingo.com https://www.getflowlingo.com - you can upload any epub and get translations when necessary to help you practice with a book. Disclosure: I'm one of the app developers. Let me know what you think :)
- pgz 8y agoYou can look up words on the Kindle. And if you highlight them there are ways to access the highlighted sentences in a machine-friendly way (to i.e. export them to Anki).
