Can you use Apple Music for free like you can do with Spotify?

I don't think you can, and worse, iTunes used to have free radio stations that were pretty decent, but are now locked behind the Apple Music paywall. Radio is an area that Spotify falls flat on its face. If I want to listen to random holiday music, for instance, Spotify just sucks.

How is it worse that with Apple Music artists are paid significantly more? And said artists are not being sued by Apple.

I don't really see the connection between my comment and yours...
