why? If I own my data then nobody else has access to it. Therefore nothing needs to be enforced.. Maybe I don't understand something here.

- rini17 8y agoThat's true only if "I own my data" means all the data are kept on devices exclusively controlled by me. This is not the case at all for our personal information. Nor do most hardware allow for complete control.
