I split the difference. My name namrog84 Looks like a pseudonym and number from previous era. However it's my last name backwards. Gorman. And I was born in 84 so it's not just a random throw away. Also namrog without number is often taken. So i still use it professionally because it's still closely related to my identity. Yet majority of people would never know if they didn't know my name.
