My favorite memories of the earlier internet was hijacking Yahoo chat rooms (guns and ammo was a favorite) and singing 80's karaoke while the normal denizens became increasingly irate. Because once you took control of the microphone you got to keep it as long as you held the button down ;) Now the internet does not seem as fun and wholesome as it did back in the 90's; I feel bad that my kids don't get to enjoy that. On the plus side, maybe they can make some side income as influencers?
