- omegaworks 8y agoThe head Librarian of Congress is appointed for 10 year terms. The present one, Carla Hayden, was appointed by Barack Obama in 2016.
- Finnucane 8y agoIn addition, a project like this requires a fair bit of planning and curatorial work. So it's probably been in the works for a while. Probably no one at the high levels of the administration is even aware of it.
