Total number of bitcoins (at t = infinity) is a conserved quantity. Do you think this sort of analysis applies to cryptocurrencies?
- malaya_zemlya 8y agoat t -> infinity, the total amount of bitcoins in circulation tends to 0 because there is always a positive probability to lose any private key.

- qubex 8y agoI’d say it proves that cryptocurrencies that do not allow fractional reserve banking are just rehashes (no pun intended) of old & discredited bimetallic/gold standard/specie/mercantilist ways of thinking.
