- mcv 8y agoThat's no excuse to support dictatorships, though. That kind of thinking is what lead the US and UK to overthrow the democratic government of Iran in 1953, setting up a dictatorship, and eventually leading to the current situation there. Better to support democracies, even if you don't entirely agree with them on everything.
