Althea in Medellin
- tarikjn 8y agoNever heard of Althea before, but I did some reading, and I must say this is the most promising last mile meshnet system I have seen implemented so far.
- melling 8y agoInteresting that they picked Colombia. Medellin is actually a booming city. They have free wifi in most of the parks. I was also in Bogota in 2007 and again 2 years ago. The country has many more tourists now. It could pass for a city in the US. Medellin is the city of eternal spring. I believe lots of Americans are retiring there. Central America is the place that really needs the help.
