Building a city on a known lava field?
- mfoy_ 8y agoI mean, developers are building houses in flood plains as we speak and no one bats an eye.
- ineedasername 8y agoIt had been "silent" for about 300 years when Pompeii was destroyed. And before that, it had mainly had small series of low-level eruptions. Basically, for much of known history at that time, it was a safe place to live.
