It's not that it would decide to hate humans, but merely needs to be indifferent to humans.
- TallGuyShort 8y agoA lot of humans hate other humans. Training the robots with the same biases as those humans persists the hate and gives it a veneer of objectivity and science. Interpretability of machine learning algorithms is key, otherwise you just have a black box that made some decision for reasons, and then it's hard to demonstrate the bias.
