Once upon a time?
When my mother was too unwell to go to the surgery (she had cancer and was approaching end of life, but still at home), her GP made house calls as needed.
This was in the UK, just a couple of years ago.
- stordoff 8y agoMy grandfather routinely has nurses make home visits (including for blood tests), and I'm fairly sure he can request a GP's visit if one were necessary (NHS).
