Pretty funny that here we are asking for businesses to work extra hours for our convenience, while at the same time bemoaning excessive hours and demanding workloads in our own industry.
- kaishiro 8y agoI feel like the argument is more for a shift in hours rather than an addition of hours.
- cortesoft 8y agoI think the point is they don't need to work extra hours, just shift them so they are open during hours where other people aren't working.
- DoreenMichele 8y agoA business can be open longer without specific individuals working longer hours. You just hire more people to cover the additional hours.
- dotancohen 8y agoJust hire more people? That's a great way to raise prices. Also, does Mom-n-Pop trust "just more people" with the keys to their four-generations family heirloom business?
- taneq 8y agoWe want them to work different hours, not more of them.
