As someone who barely survived esophageal cancer, I'm asking politely that you at least couch these kinds of comments with "I heard, but I'm not sure" or cite some reputable source.
Consider, for example, that my spouse was pretty desperate for a miracle. She would read unsourced speculation like this and sometimes get a bit of false hope. That's not the only harm this kind of commentary does either.

- throwawy912 8y ago<I heard, but I'm not sure, that> fasting cures cancer. Tumors are nothing more than the body's segregation of dead cells. It is often the biopsy a Dr. orders that punctures the tumor and lets it grow much faster than before. Tumors thrive in acidic environments. Fasting (several possible combinations, ie. 30 day water fast, 10 day dry fast, 60 day grape juice fast) followed by all-fruit diet will put doctors and pharma companies out of the business of "cancer treatment" and patients on the way to cancer-free life (and not the BS 5-year remission statistic). Do your own research, whether you got advice from a random HN user that will be flagged within 5 minutes, or a so-called doctor.
