As most articles about discrimination in tech indicate, tech industry is dominated by white male workers.

- ForHackernews 8y agoIt's just kind of funny because every time there's an article about gender/race discrimination, you've get a bunch of people playing devil's advocate and explaining how it's not really so bad after all. But then you see the age discrimination articles and the entire tone of the commentariat is "yes this is a real and serious problem! something must be done!" I don't even disagree: age discrimination is awful. But nobody's out here with "Well maybe older workers are really worse at their jobs. Surely you don't want affirmative action for greybeards..." the way they are when women raise the issues they face in the tech industry.
