Came here to say a similar story. After ~12 years of development, StackOverflow has gone from invaluable to irrelevant. These days my questions are either so niche nobody answers them, or like you, I get a tonne of abuse for asking in the wrong place, or at the wrong time, or not including the right info, or whatever it may be.
