As soon as I read 'optimizing for ... energy consumption' I figured "wow you picked a super difficult problem to model." But, sure -- if you can measure it directly, that's ideal!
- gumby 8y agoThis suggests an interesting path of training a NN on the results of a series of standard problems, searching for the processor-version-specific timing optimizations and then feeding that result back into the code generation phase.
