Of all the questions I’ve ever asked, I consistently learn the most from this one.

- b_t_s 8y agoThis is a great question. It can show a lot of things, overlay bureaucratic process, control freak, lack of trust/understanding of devs, general disorganization, penny wise pound foolish mentality, not invented here syndrome. Or it can show that the company values devs, trusts them, and wants to retain them.
