Ask HN: My Optometrist says I need a new monitor help
My Optometrist wants to adjust my prescription but also wants me to buy a nice monitor to help combat vision reduction.
I’d like to buy 2 monitors, one that does portrait and then a second landscape. It would be nice if they are the same
Recommendations please that won’t break the bank but something crisp for c++ and writing docs. Most everything I do is code.
Thank you. I’m a bit depressed today my vision has deteriorated more.

- rs23296008n1 8y agoLG 43" multi-client monitor: 43ud79-b. 4k. Acts like up to four monitors simultaneously. Also, make sure you play basketball or other ball sport. This will force your eyes to refocus. A lot of shortsighted-ness is due to staring at close objects for extended periods and this makes your eyes lazy. Not a cure but it helps.
