If opponents of white nationalism always characterize them as advocating violent ethnic cleansing but they don't present themselves that way, some curious people will look them up, and all the arguments they heard against them will seem like ignorance. I believe that just helps their case. Arguments are most effective when they're fair and honest. People are attracted to forbidden knowledge and love to feel like they know secrets, and there you have the attraction of things like the "intellectual dark web."
