White is not an ethnic nationality. A person from Ireland has no ethnic or national ties to a person from Italy. The fact that the citizens of those two countries were not considered "white" 100 years ago demonstrates the invalidity of "white" as an ethnic or national group.

You can't understand what White Nationalism and Separatism if you're happy to come conflate it with "praise for your ethnic identity".

  The problem is that there is no objective distinction. If I don't understand what it means to you, it likely means something else to me. For example, if someone praised their white race, a lot of people would consider that white nationalism. Especially in the context of, say, a national news story.
