It's my mother that nearly died, her husband who now has power of attorney and uses this as an excuse to prevent us from even trivial medical information. It's far worse than just that actually. Worst battle I've ever gone through. Through careful emotional chess I now have won the peace, but he still won't tell us what medicines she is prescribed.
