There are a lot of these newsletters at the moment. I’m not sure how to differentiate them. Does anyone have a list of the ones particularly worth following?

- redwards510 8y agoIf you are in the .Net field, this guy's blog is a nice daily list of links to read. A lot come from HN. The Wolf Report https://michael-wolfenden.github.io https://michael-wolfenden.github.io
- codereflection 8y agoSimilar to Chris Alcock's The Morning Brew, which has been around since 2007. http://blog.cwa.me.uk/ http://blog.cwa.me.uk/
- rovyko 8y agoIt's not exactly coding related, but I really like the Orbital Index. The stories they choose are usually interesting and their blurbs are succinct enough to read during a few minutes break.
- pekalicious 8y agoThere are not that many general programming newsletters, but language specific there are a ton. A list I like to use is the Awesome Newsletter https://github.com/zudochkin/awesome-newsletters https://github.com/zudochkin/awesome-newsletters
- prolepunk 8y agoI really like pycoders -- https://pycoders.com/ https://pycoders.com/ It's a weekly newsletter that brings me python news.
- claudiulodro 8y agoThe only one I look forward to every week is TechLoaf: https://www.techloaf.io/ https://www.techloaf.io/ Probably not exactly what you were looking for though. :)
- ccantana 8y agoHey, that's my newsletter! Glad you're a fan, and always excited to see my extremely lo-tech baby get love on HN. I'll send you some swag - reply to any of the emails. Proud you're standing with The Loaf in this crowded Weekly Newsletter as a Service (WNaaS) space. - outworlder 8y ago> There are a lot of these newsletters at the moment. I’m not sure how to differentiate them. So, you wanted a curated list of newsletters which provide curated lists?
- TrueGeek 8y agoYes. But how do I know you're any good at making that list?
- kbenson 8y agoYou crowd source it, and eventually you end up here[1]. 1: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_lists_of_lists https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_lists_of_lists
- celeritascelery 8y agoTrue. We need a curated list of curated lists of curated newsletters.
- diminoten 8y agoThe ones that give you other ways to subscribe besides email, is how I differentiate. I am not interested in getting articles in my email, it's for correspondence only.
- the_pwner224 8y agoWhat other ways do you get newsletters? Twitter? SMS? ???
- iBelieve 8y agoMy preferred format for getting newsletters, blog posts, and other news is RSS. I use Feedly along with Reeder on macOS.
- diminoten 8y agoRSS or just directly on the webpage, either are preferable. I use my inbox as a todo list, and something like Feedly for my article consumption. It's hard to mix the two successfully.
- pekalicious 8y agoMost newsletters, especially ones using MailChimp, should have an RSS link unless they explicitly disabled it. Here is the RSS link for Morning Cup of Coding: https://us18.campaign-archive.com/feed?u=ab0f46cf302c0ed836e0bf0ad&id=56b5f64c5f https://us18.campaign-archive.com/feed?u=ab0f46cf302c0ed836e... I don't promote it much because it has some disadvantages from my end, but I see the value in RSS. Hell, I rely on them to make each issue.
