One of those organisations is the Belgian Sabam and are really crooks. In the past they were sued for fraud, bribing, tampering with the books... They are notorious for asking licenses for everything music related even if the artist does not exists. A Belgian satirical program created a concert with the artists Kenwood (mixer), Suzy Wan (jar of Chinese food) , Mister cocktail and the party mix (pack of nuts) and they still managed to send a bill of a couple of hundred euros for these artists they represented...
