Why not allow a hash location to be passed, and update it when you do a search?
E.G. https://whatsmyaircraft.com/#UAL123 https://whatsmyaircraft.com/#UAL123 -- would immediately load the data for UAL123.
- itake 8y agoI think you need the date of the flight as well?
