Officially, I work from home. But when my family is around, that can be just as bad as being in an open office environment, maybe worse. (I have a 4-year old and a 3-month old.) So, I started leasing an office in town about a year and a half ago. Totally worth it. It's a quiet space to work where nobody interrupts me or touches anything. And, the internet's about 5x faster than what I have at home. When the weather is nice, I bike in. It'd be great if my employer paid for it, but my base pay is sufficient.
