That said, when I read that article, I assumed this referred to the federal minimum wage for sheltered workshop employees (which is a few dollars) rather than Seattle's minimum wage or the federal minimum of $10.35/hour. The latter wage is more important as the NC has claimed its workers are contractors and therefore only federal disability and wage laws apply.
