I'm not sure I understand. Why do you need to switch key/scale to select a single note? The notes in the harmonic table are always the same, the only thing that can change is the enharmonic spelling.
- i_am_proteus 8y agoJust how I think about music-- seeing a chromatic representation alongside the hex lattice would help me get the note I want faster; I often think in terms of intervals.
