JPMC hired Accenture last year to build out a blockchain solution using Quorum to compete with Ripple's various solutions. I believe this arose from that work, but I don't know for sure.

- shepardrtc 8y agoThe blockchain system was rather underwhelming. It was supposed to be demo'ed at SIBOS last year but I guess that didn't happen. We'll see how JPMCoin goes, but knowing JPMC systems, don't expect anything impressive.
