Makes me think of electric cars. Just a few edits: "Electric cars were first seen as a Maker project or "a rich man's toy", but Elon Musk worked hard to change that perception. He said electric cars are for anyone. They can be used to go to work, to visit family, to go sightseeing." Given that they're being built with autonomy in mind, wouldn't they qualify as robots owned by regular people?
