As a daily practitioner of sitting (Zazen) and walking meditation (Kinhin), I earn my money with Python and Ruby. But these days, I learn Clojure and feel myself closer to the truth with every step I take.
- danieldk 16y agoI think the point of Zen is that Python and Ruby are also truth ;). When he came to the sentence, "One should use one's mind in such a way that it will be free from any attachment, " I at once became thoroughly enlightened, and realized that all things in the universe are the Essence of Mind itself. ~ The Platform Sutra
- preek 16y agoI did not state the opposite. Only that in LISP I can see the truth more clearly. Obviously I love Python and Ruby - if only for their clean conciseness.
