Jump pilot would have had a natural line of sight too the trim wheel, and may have seen it move "unscheduled" at the same time as the nose down. This might have given him a unique suspicion of auto trim. I expect this will be included in the accident report. Hopefully NTSB will conduct their own first hand interview with this pilot. (I can't think of why they wouldn't.)
