The playstore termination happened to me too. I happened to chance on some forums where you can pay money to people who can use multiple accounts and IPs to get your competitors banned by repeatedly hitting report and then copyright/infringement.
After a certain threshold, google bot bans your accounts and then sends you an automated email.
- Wowfunhappy 8y agoWhoa! Where can I read more about this? If there aren't any news articles on the topic (in which case, this is a prime story opportunity for some enterprising journalist/blogger), can you link to the forums?
- ganeshkrishnan 8y agoIt's called flagging which youtube made it more prominent by "youtube heroes". https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/pavyp8/youtube-contributors-trusted-flaggers-feature https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/pavyp8/youtube-co... However you can just go to any app in the playstore and flag it. If you have a "high trust" then google algorithm can take it down with just one flag. I have high points on google maps and it's scary how my edits for even embassy and consulates are approved instantly: https://screenshots.firefox.com/314Jgow6iDMhflNF/www.google.com.au https://screenshots.firefox.com/314Jgow6iDMhflNF/www.google.... Scammers have been banning competitors, changing bank phone number on google maps (https://www.hackread.com/fraudsters-changing-contact-details-of-bank-on-google-maps/ https://www.hackread.com/fraudsters-changing-contact-details...) and also taking down youtube videos. Google gives zero shit
