I can handle maybe one popup a day asking me to log in/sign up, but the fact that it's every single article drives me bonkers. I'm well aware I can just block it with uBlock, but I shouldn't have to. Forcing a hostile user experience to try and get me to sign up has just made me stop reading Medium articles.
