While I generally agree with your sentiment about this issue, I don't agree about your particular statement. For example, if it happened to be (and obviously it isn't), that 90% of white supremacists had PhDs and were in the 1% by income and wealth, that wouldn't prove anything either about whether their beliefs about whole races of people were correct.
