This article is full of pseudoscientific speculation. I had anxiety and mild depression working in an office. Remote work has brought me so much peace and I've been doing it for well over a year now.
Apparently a nerve running through my gut that stimulates when I push my bowels too hard is ruining my brain because I don't subject myself to corporate slavery masked as healthy normal socializing.
Who in the world writes this propaganda and why?
- Phlarp 8y agoI only made it a few paragraphs in but this feels like the same vein as "Money doesn't make you any happier past 70k/yr" with the same nonsense and tired platitudes to defend it. I'm absolutely certain life would be swell for recruiters and hiring managers if skilled workers were happy to cap out at 70k/yr and never asked for perks like remote work or flexible schedules. I supposed it's easier to just wave your hands while shouting "labor shortage!" or "entitled millenials!"
