Or, once a critical mass is reached the insurance industry will lobby for it to be mandatory in all cars, selling it as a safety feature.
- JohnFen 8y agoI do think that ubiquitous, highly intrusive spying will become mandatory for all cars at some point. I don't think it will be because of insurance. I think it's more likely to come from the push for "self-driving" cars and automated roadways. I look at Tesla's spy system as the sort of dystopian future we can expect.
