I got a bonus roughly twice the cost of the iPad 2 64GB when it first came out, so I used half of it to buy it on a whim, no use case in mind at the time. It's now my primary personal computing device. My day job has me in front of a desktop with keyboard all day. I have little to no desire to do things resembling work when I leave the office. My iPhone SE is too small to use for extended periods (but I won't get a bigger one as I want to be able to use it one-handed and hands wont oblige), so the iPad (now an iPad Pro) gets all my outside-the-office attention. Reading, planning holidays & booking flights, budgeting, Netflix, whatever.
