kinda-off-topic: I am very often baffled by the sheer mathematical and general complexity of music. Each music-related wikipedia article is the stub of a link-tree that quickly ends up in confounding complexity. The highly emotional associations I get of rock musicians and metal concerts when thinking about music could not be further from the science of music.
