- nailer 16y agoThanks man. The thing I'm hoping is that it 4chan continues to be the best place to trade porn. They do it better, ImEveryone is more about the actual communication, hence the semi-persistent identities, threading, etc. I can run ImEveryone in black and white with little difference. In the gap between the post and the submission hitting the front page there's some degree of filtering - you could get around it if you wanted to, but why not just send to 4chan?
- ZeroMinx 16y agoThere was quite a pornographic picture top of the page when I visited, a couple of minutes ago (there's a new top picture now). You probably need some sort of warning for that..
- ahyes 16y agoSome time ago (I'm not sure if they still exist), there was a group on livejournal called "ontd", aka "oh know they didn't". They operated the same kind of platform you've made here, only there was a bit more moderation. Do you remove images after a certain period of time? When I was running photos.cx some years ago, I never deleted any images (unless they received a dmca complaint). About a petabyte of outbound transfers later, I had maybe about 190GB worth of images. I'm fond of your design, but I'm pretty sure you're going to catch the wrath of 4chan if they come across this. Just look at what happened to stickam after they showed up.
- cing 16y agoHas anyone tried to make a real-time version of an image board like 4chan? I know there are image-based chats (http://dump.fm/chat http://dump.fm/chat for example) but none of them are threaded. I guess what I'm really after is a "threaded chat" where you can sticky a topic and have it float at the top of your chat dialog with auto-updating replies. Anyone know of something like this?
- cing 16y agoI guess it's just a different UI to http://www.tangler.com/ http://www.tangler.com/ or Google Wave...
- swah 16y agoSame think I thought... "I'm everyone" is just another way of saying "We're anonymous".
