Should modern aircraft be required to live stream voice and data recordings?

Is there some technical reason that cockpit voice and flight data recorders could not or should not be used to transmit a live, ongoing stream of their data? It would allow supervision by multiple sources and simultaneous cloud recording and we could end the search for "black boxes." Airlines and manufactures could also use this telemetry data in flights that don't crash to further improve safety and performance.
