Not really, it's something I was confronted to when I was working on military contracts a few years ago. From what I recall, it's very waterfall minded in term of specification workflow, it's also quite document heavy, and the terminology and acronyms can take a while to get used to. I found it was a bit lacking regarding how to put together all the pieces into a big system, aka the Integration step.
