What's the use case of allowing location access in the background for the user of the cellphone. I understand the use case for advertisers and other companies whose revenue model is based on spying and collecting data, but I can't imagine any application I'd be running on the background that would need location while it's in the background. Do people put map apps in the background? What other legitimate uses are there for location data?
- lovelearning 8y agoI used that approach in a custom app for a family to track a person with MCI in case they got lost. (MCI=Mild Cognitive Impairment - memory problems basically)
