Just watched the YC Amazon CTO talk on Youtube. It seems Amazon has a service oriented architecture whereby each team run their own 'service' or monolith. I don't work at Amazon, so someone could probably correct me. Other teams could adopt that approach not the super microservices / containers that need a dozen things. Probably some of the microservices could be broken down into functions that run on lambda.
