  Perhaps this will be the point at which the current state of the FAA comes under scrutiny and review. In the UK the equivalent CAA is half-jokingly called "Campaign Against Aviation" for its merciless regulation. The FAA seems to have veered in the opposite direction, inviting manufacturer staff to lead certification processes etc
