Yuma raising $500k to feed you before anyone does
We've been working on Yuma for the last year and pivoted at the 6 month mark. We became a weekly meal subscription that automatically stocks your personalized meals at your workplace. For the latter 6 months, we grew at 14% WoW to get to $20k MRR—all bootstrapped.
The cool thing about Yuma is not the tasty meals or the novel UI/UX, but it's the data that we collect and how we use it. We believe what we do can serve the customer in negative time.
We're based up in Montréal, Canada, and are raising $500k usd. You see... our network is small but our ambitions are really big. We want to work with SV based investors - people deep in the trenches of tech. But cold emails don't do us justice. We rethought things and decided to bring the right investors to us. We built our own version of a Kickstarter page on our website with a contact form at the end, check it out: www.itsyuma.com/investors.
Our humble request of the HN community is to share the link mentioned above, up-vote this post, or whatever could help us reach the right investors.
This is a long shot of course. Taking our raising strategy to HN is a bet we're making because we believe people here can relate to what we're going through. It's not going to be easy to build the foodservice of the future, but your help will make it a tad bit easier.
