Have any of those companies gone public yet? While I believe there is a shift north, I also believe a lot of the newer companies won't exist in 5 years. I guess I feel SF is still a lot more ephemeral than its southern neighbors.
- 2arrs2ells 8y agoTwitter, Atlassian, Eventbrite, Okta & Dropbox, are all pubic & in SF. Facebook, Google, Microsoft (Github) have a sizeable SF presence.
- shanev 8y agoAtlassian is based in Sydney, Australia.
- andrewbinstock 8y agoTheir original US office (and I believe still their biggest in the US) is in SF.
