I don't know the individuals who wrote that... Even though I read the article. What I do remember is that "Slate" journalists wrote it. And its on that platform - which is using the very privacy destroying tactics they bemoan about FB. And they also pull data from FB with people using their SSO. They made themselves as hypocrites. Nobody forced them to 'force agree' people, or to tie in to FB or goog. But they absolutely did.
