Microsoft strongly recommends developers utilize alternative means to achieve your application s needs. Many scenarios that TxF was developed for can be achieved through simpler and more readily available techniques. Furthermore, TxF may not be available in future versions of Microsoft Windows. - mehrdadn 8y agoI'm pretty convinced that documentation is BS. I could be wrong I guess, but I honestly don't see them removing TxF anytime soon. They didn't exactly build their business on breaking backwards-compatibility of APIs.

- mehrdadn 8y agoThey're not removed though? They're 'deprecated' as in they don't want you to depend on them, but they're still very much there and usable.
